Hillridge Farm Field Trip

State Fair

We took our annual trip to the State Fair on Tuesday.  We go every year to celebrate Chris and my first date which was to the fair in 1995.

The theme this year is “Whole Lotta Happy”.  I thought Ryan’s face really did this justice…he had a rough day in general but in this picture he was upset because he wanted ice cream.  Despite his the sad face, we all really had a good time.

Finally got that ice cream…  NC State Fair 2010 007 NC State Fair 2010 010  NC State Fair 2010 014

There favorite thing was the rides.  They wanted to ride everything.  NC State Fair 2010 013NC State Fair 2010 021 NC State Fair 2010 023 NC State Fair 2010 027 NC State Fair 2010 028 NC State Fair 2010 030 NC State Fair 2010 040

They even rode this fast ride that went forward and backward.  Arianna rode the alien space ship that you go inside and it spins around so fast that you are raised off the floor.

Adorable Dogs and Husband Too

DSC_0091

I love that my husband loves animals too!  There are few others in the world who would have five dogs.  Granted I would have a zoo if given the choice but none-the-less I am grateful for my husband!DSC_0090

This picture is from before one of Ari’s troop meetings.  We are looking forward to her Investiture next Monday.  She will say the pledge, sing some songs, and get her first pin as well as part of her Daisy.

Hawk Sightings

We have these two hawks that hang out around our house.  Chris caught them on camera the other day.
