Wizard of Oz

We went to Castle McCulloch for their annual Wizard of Oz trail.  Arianna really enjoyed this!  Ryan had fun too though the Monkeys in the castle gave him quite a scare!

  

Trick or Treat 2009

We continued your annual tradition of trick or treating with our friends in their neighborhood.   \

We always do a picture on the stairs before heading out. 

Ryan was a Jedi.  He kept changing which one throughout the night.  

Arianna was one of Viveca from Barbie and the Three Musketeers.

We enjoyed celebrating Gabrielle and Gaston’s joint birthday party.

Jedi Ryan

This is the funniest game.  The object is to try to be the first to eat your donut.  The trick is no hands. 

Halloween Spooktacular

I volunteered for the first time on Friday night at Noah’s Landing for their Halloween Spooktacular.  I volunteered in the nocturnal small animal barn…there were tree porcupines, fennec foxes, serval cat, bengal cats, giant tortoises, a spring hare and an armadillo.  I had so much fun with the different animals.  Chris and the kids came with some of our friends to trick or treat with the animals.

Halloween Crafts

The kids really enjoyed reading books about Halloween and making crafts.  Unfortunately I didn’t take pics of most of our activities.

We made ghosts from shaving cream and glue.

Green Acres is the place to be

I love Fall!  There are so many fun places to go and enjoy the season.  We spent Friday at a farm named Green Acres.  

We enjoyed the hay ride.  I thought it was interesting that the cows were in the water despite the cold weather. 

We went through the corn maze and we made it out!!

The kids enjoyed playing on the hay bales. 

Wild man Ryan enjoyed jumping to each bale and bouncing off on his way back across.
