I always try to make sure I get pictures with the Great Grandparents! We took these pictures when Nanny was getting 2 apple trees that she had grafted for the kids. The kids and Apollo had a blast in the apple orchard.

Easter Day

We spent Easter day with my Mom and family. We died eggs, had a fish fry and had an egg hunt.

Easter Morning

  Our kids know that the Easter is about Jesus and that the Easter Bunny is really Mom and Dad but we still enjoy the tradition of a “Easter Basket”.  I discovered a hidden talent of Chris’…he is great at making clues for a scavenger hunt.

 

The night before we told them there would be a clue on the night stand. The first thing Ari said when she woke up was where is the note…They had a great time with the scavenger hunt!

Easter Egg Hunt

Before Easter, we had an Easter Egg Hunt at our house. The kids had a blast! (FYI the pics are in a goofy order even though they do not appear that way on my end, just have to use your imagination)

Ari's soccer

Arianna has a love hate relationship with soccer. She doesn't like to go but when she actually plays, she enjoys it. She likes it more when she is playing outside of the organized time. I haven't figured out why yet but she plays harder and longer when it's not game time. There is something about having to play that makes her not like it. We have started rewarding her...if she plays hard and gives her all then we go get ice cream after the game.

Ryan wearing Daddy’s huge backpack.  The outfit that Ryan has on is his favorite!  He wears it most days.  I have to steal it to wash it.  He is so into changing clothes constantly but usually ends up staying in this…what he calls his power rangers outfit.  I think boys are preprogrammed at birth to know what power rangers are and also all of the characters in batman and spiderman.  He certainly is not allowed to watch those shows but somehow still knows all of the characters

Wedding=bugs and peeing on trees

We went to the wedding of my sweet neighbor from my old neighborhood.  She said the kids were more than welcome to attend.  I am not sure if she knew what she was getting into…while waiting for guests to arrive, Ryan was finding bugs and during the wedding pictures, Ryan peed on a tree (click here for that pic from an earlier post).  Kids know how to keep you humble! 

Heather is a fellow dog lover and has several collies.  She had one of the collies in the wedding.

Blog-barded

If all goes as planned, be prepared to be bombarded by me in the next couple of days. I am so far behind on blogging and have a load of pics to share. I have been so busy with school and gardening that I haven't taken time to blog about any of it:)
